Mara Simpson is a composer, performing artist and producer. Exploring analogue synths and tape machines to create her signature sound, woven from electronic and organic textures, she’s been described as an electronic producer and songwriter who’s the antithesis of digital pop polish and AI.
“It’s pretty special...It somehow feels like it’s made up of moss, stones, rough fabric, splintered fenceposts and the smell of rain on leaves.”
- Joe Muggs, Bandcamp (Best Electronic)
Enter Mara’s analogue world of modular synth, field recording, tape machines and heartfelt vocals, exploring story, memory and connection.
